Christin Chapman, DVM, Diplomate ACVO
Dr. Chapman attended the University of Arizona, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Veterinary Science with a minor in Microbiology. She received her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University. Following her graduation from Colorado State, she completed a rotating internship in small animal emergency medicine and surgery with the Veterinary Specialty Hospital in Rancho Santa Fe, California. She completed a one year specialized internship in veterinary ophthalmology in San Diego, California. Dr. Chapman completed her residency program with Eye Care for Animals in Torrance, California, and became board certified by the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists in 2010. She practiced for over ten years in southern California, before moving back to Colorado to join the ophthalmology team at VRCC in 2019.
Allison Cleymaet, DVM, PhD, Practice Limited to Diseases of the Eye
Dr. Cleymaet attended the University of California, Berkeley where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Integrative Biology. She received her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from University of California, Davis. She then completed a rotating internship in small animal emergency medicine and surgery at Purdue University in Indiana. She completed a one year specialized internship in veterinary ophthalmology in New York. Dr. Cleymaet then completed a specialized internship and combined comparative ophthalmology residency program and PhD with a focus on retinal neuroscience and opioid signaling at Colorado State University, finishing in 2020, and joining the VRCC Ophthalmology team shortly thereafter.
