
Dr. Alex Pyuen
DVM, MS, DACVIM (Oncology)
Dr. Alex Pyuen is a board-certified veterinary oncologist who earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Master of Science degrees at Colorado State University. She completed a small animal rotating internship at the University of Georgia, followed by a residency in medical oncology at Colorado State University’s Flint Animal Cancer Center. During her residency, she managed a high-volume and diverse caseload that prepared her to care for a wide range of oncology patients.
Dr. Pyuen is deeply committed to preserving quality of life, honoring the human animal bond, and tailoring treatment plans to reflect each family’s goals. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, camping, and skiing around Colorado with her partner, Sam, his dog Bradley, and her beloved pup Champ, a 13-year-old black lab mix who continues to thrive with the support of an incredible multidisciplinary veterinary team.
