
Dr. Jacqueline Murphy
DVM, MS, cVMA, DACVIM (Oncology)
Dr. Jacqueline Murphy is a board-certified veterinary medical oncologist and a Colorado native. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2017, then continued her advanced training with a small animal rotating internship at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital. She went on to complete an oncology internship at North Carolina State University, followed by an oncology residency at the University of Florida.
Dr. Murphy is passionate about helping families navigate a cancer diagnosis with clarity, compassion, and support. She enjoys working closely with pet owners to help them understand their pet’s treatment options and make informed decisions that fit their goals, their pet’s quality of life, and their family’s needs. Her clinical interests include medical oncology and incorporating acupuncture into patient care when appropriate.
As a Colorado native, Dr. Murphy is excited to care for pets and families in her home state. Outside of the hospital, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, playing with her two dogs, Lani and Lilo, and soaking up the Colorado sunshine.
