Dr. Julie Aiello
DVM
Dr. Julie Aiello earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University. Early in her career, she practiced both equine and small animal medicine, experiences that helped shape a broad and adaptable clinical foundation.
Her professional interests include emergency medicine and staying current with new and evolving approaches in ER care. Outside of the hospital, she enjoys riding horses, running, and swimming. She shares her life with three dogs, each with a special story: Russell, a six-year-old terrier mix who was relinquished due to immune-mediated anemia and has since undergone seven transfusions; Enzo, a ten-year-old Maltese who had surgery for a congenital heart defect at VRCC; and Guido, a seven-year-old Maltese from Milldog Rescue. She is also a proud grandmother to three grandchildren who live in California.
