Ashton graduated from Bel-Rea institute of Animal Technology in 2013, and worked as an animal shelter veterinary technician before joining the ophthalmology department in December of 2014.  There she experienced the in’s and out’s of orphaned animals, and gained a compassionate and loving approach for each patient, old and new.

On her own time, Ashton loves to spend time with her 2 dogs; Gus Gus, a Dachshund mix, and Reed, a German Shepherd Mix, and a misfit cat named JoJo. She also has a passion for cooking/baking, and attending frequent art shows with her long time boyfriend, Lucas.

Anne graduated from the Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in 2007 and is a Colorado native. After graduation Anne worked for another specialty hospital for almost four years before joining the Ophthalmology team in 2011. Anne has a special interest in surgery and anesthesia.

Anne has two dogs ( a German Shepherd mix and a Pointer mix) and two misfit cats who run her household. In her free time, Anne enjoys camping, spending time with her family and formulating beer brewing recipes with her husband.

Before moving to Colorado in 2002, Kristine worked at a small animal hospital in her home state of Connecticut for 4 years. She attended the Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology and graduated with high honors in December 2003. She received her National certification in January 2004, becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician in Colorado. Kristine has been working at VRCC since April 2005 when she started working for the emergency department. In October 2014 she transitioned to the Ophthalmology team to learn a new specialty. Kristine lives in Littleton with the love of her life, David, their Shar-pei mix, Turtle, and 2 kitties, Buca & Muuusel. Kristine enjoys being outdoors in the sunshine, riding her bike, camping, cooking, and trying new microbreweries.

Sarah T OPHTHO CVTSarah has been  working in the veterinary field since 2007, and graduated from Pierpont Community and Technical College in Fairmont, WV in 2013. She moved to Colorado in May of 2013, then received her CVT that November. Sarah started working in general veterinary practice first, then decided to move to specialty, joining the VRCC Ophthalmology team in October of 2015. In her free time, Sarah enjoys snowboarding, hiking, camping and relaxing with her friends. She has 2 cats; a Ragdoll named Mowgli Witwicky, and a tuxedo named Albus Severus Dumblecat.
