She graduated from Regis University in 2005 with a Bachelors degree in art, and a minor in marketing. She worked for more than five years in marketing for a sunglass lens company before returning to school to attend Bel-Rea Institute. Cassidy graduated in 2011 and began her career as a CVT working with large animals. When a more challenging position presented itself, she moved to an internal medicine practice and realized that she really loved working with small animals in specialty medicine.
When not working, Cassidy enjoys wake boarding, bowling and enjoying the outdoor playground that Colorado offers. In early 2014, Cassidy and her husband welcomed their baby girl, Tyler. While they couldn’t be more happy with their new arrival, their two year old Shih Tzu is still adjusting.
Katie is a Minnesota native, who attended North Dakota State University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Technology. After obtaining her degree, she moved to Colorado where she worked in General Practice (GP) for seven years. Her favorite aspect of working in GP was the variety of cases and animals she saw. Katie has a real love for animals and her passion for medicine drew her to cardiology, where she is interested in expanding her skills in specialty medicine. Helping animals, connecting with their owners and being a part of their medical journey are some of the things Katie feels passionate about and keep her fulfilled in her career.
When she is not at work, Katie enjoys attending concerts, skiing, hiking, camping and many of the other wonderful activities Colorado has to offer. Katie has two cats, Fanny Mae (11 years old) and Dinah (7 month old).
Rachel brings some amazing veterinary experience from her previous positions in both small animal and zoo settings and is an ambassador for our pets and their people. Rachel feels passionately about being part of a team that fosters continuous learning opportunities and finds fulfillment in witnessing the positive change we can make in an animal’s health and well-being.
Rachel and her husband, Enrico, recently relocated to Colorado, where she is able to enjoy to the fullest some of her favorite things –such as exploring, hiking, horseback riding and skiing. At home Rachel’s house is ruled by her two kitties, Monster, a two-year-old DSH, and Einstein, an eight-month-old Maine Coon mix.
She is married and has two teenage sons, and a 10 year old Golden Retriever named Nickel. She and her husband, Jim, enjoy cross country & downhill skiing, hiking, backpacking, entertaining friends, and international travel to warm, off-the-beaten-path locations.
