Regan moved to the United States from New Zealand in 2003, where she worked on a cutting horse ranch for several years before getting her associates degree in veterinary technology from Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology.
Regan joined RMVC as a technician in 2009 and was promoted to Director of Operations in 2013. Her primary responsibilities include the management of our technician staff, working closely with our drug studies, and day to day operations. Regan is an incredibly skilled technician and manager, and her combined talents ensure that RMVC is always able to provide the highest level of care to our patients and timely communication with our clients and referring veterinarians.

Regan is passionate about her patients, client education, and building the very best technician team possible. Her special interests in cardiology are Continuous ECG holter analysis for arrhythmias and congenital defects such as patent ductus arterioles.

In her free time, Regan enjoys wine tasting, snowboarding, and spending time outdoors with her two dogs, Jade (Great Dane) and Reggie (French Bulldog), and her boyfriend, Dustin.

After graduating from Michigan State University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Animal Science, Sarah moved to Colorado and started working in general practice. In 2001, she joined our Cardiology team as Client Care Coordinator. She was promoted to Senior Client and Employee Coordinator in 2014 and is responsible for overall office management, staff administration, and ensuring that we are providing exceptional customer service to our clients and referring DVMs. She will continue scheduling appointments and managing much of the behind the scenes portion of our practice as well. Sarah and her husband, Marcus, enjoy many of the outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer. They also enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends. They have two dogs, Assisi (Husky) and Louie (Bernese Mountain Dog), and a cat, Ceasar Pilache (Tabby).
Caroline graduated from the University of Sussex in Brighton, England in 2002 with a degree in English and American Studies. She worked for several years at Aspen Ski Resorts, and teaching homeless children at a school in South Africa. She returned to school in 2008 and attended Bel-Rea Institute where she received her AAS as a Veterinary Technician. Caroline’s love for animals and desire to make a difference in the lives of the people and pets she works with is what convinced her to become a technician. She is passionate about providing amazing care to animals and is excited to work at RMVC with people who share her same passion. Prior to coming to RMVC, Caroline spent 6 years at a Denver area veterinary specialty hospital, first as an ICU technician and then a cardiology technician. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, skiing, camping, travelling  (most recent exciting trips were to Peru & Costa Rica), and enjoying the outdoors with her husband, Chris and their terrier mix, Bella.
Allison received her B.S. in Psychology from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo. While there, she joined the Equestrian team and competed on the English riding team. After working for several years in New York City, Allison decided that her heart is really with animals and that she would return to school to become a Certified Veterinary Technician.

She moved to Colorado where she attended Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology. After graduating in 2011, she went to work as a surgery technician. She joined Rocky Mountain Veterinary Cardiology in 2013.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her boyfriend and her two dogs –Guinness, a lab mix; and Spurr, a mini Aussie. She also enjoys traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Amanda graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Fisheries and Wildlife and certification in Veterinary Technology. She worked in the field as a Biology Technician for four years before deciding to pursue a career where she could help animals and their families. She joined VRCC’s Ophthalmology department in March 2004 and joined the Cardiology team in October 2014. When she is not working she enjoys traveling, hiking, camping, snowshoeing, reading and spending time with friends and her sweet dog.

Ray graduated from Ohio State University with a B.S. in Computer Information Science Engineering. After working many years as a software engineer, he returned to school and graduated with an Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology degree in 2004. His first 11 years were spent as an ER technician. He then spent a year working as a lead patient care technician before joining RMVC in 2016.

In his free time, Ray enjoys making veterinary-related Android apps and competing in all types of triathlon events.

Cassidy was raised on the Western Slope of Colorado in the small town of Basalt. She grew up playing soccer, bowling and watching her father raise Thoroughbred horses.

She graduated from Regis University in 2005 with a Bachelors degree in art, and a minor in marketing. She worked for more than five years in marketing for a sunglass lens company before returning to school to attend Bel-Rea Institute. Cassidy graduated in 2011 and began her career as a CVT working with large animals. When a more challenging position presented itself, she moved to an internal medicine practice and realized that she really loved working with small animals in specialty medicine.

When not working, Cassidy enjoys wake boarding, bowling and enjoying the outdoor playground that Colorado offers. In early 2014, Cassidy and her husband welcomed their baby girl, Tyler. While they couldn’t be more happy with their new arrival, their two year old Shih Tzu is still adjusting.

Katie is a Minnesota native, who attended North Dakota State University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Technology. After obtaining her degree, she moved to Colorado where she worked in General Practice (GP) for seven years. Her favorite aspect of working in GP was the variety of cases and animals she saw. Katie has a real love for animals and her passion for medicine drew her to cardiology, where she is interested in expanding her skills in specialty medicine. Helping animals, connecting with their owners and being a part of their medical journey are some of the things Katie feels passionate about and keep her fulfilled in her career.

When she is not at work, Katie enjoys attending concerts, skiing, hiking, camping and many of the other wonderful activities Colorado has to offer. Katie has two cats,  Fanny Mae (11 years old)  and Dinah (7 month old).

Rachel grew up in upstate New York, where she attended the University of Albany (SUNY). After graduating with a Bachelors (BA) in Psychology, she moved to Scotland to pursue her Masters (MSc) in Animal Behavior and Welfare at University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh Scotland.

Rachel brings some amazing veterinary experience from her previous positions in both small animal and zoo settings and is an ambassador for our pets and their people. Rachel feels passionately about being part of a team that fosters continuous learning opportunities and finds fulfillment in witnessing the positive change we can make in an animal’s health and well-being.

Rachel and her husband, Enrico, recently relocated to Colorado, where she is able to enjoy to the fullest some of her favorite things –such as exploring, hiking, horseback riding and skiing. At home Rachel’s house is ruled by her two kitties, Monster, a two-year-old DSH, and Einstein, an eight-month-old Maine Coon mix.

Kristin graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Speech Communication, and has spent the past 25 years working in various advertising, marketing and customer/client service capacities. She is passionate about building relationships, understanding and addressing the various needs that businesses have, and developing win/win solutions.

She is married and has two teenage sons, and a 10 year old Golden Retriever named Nickel.  She and her husband, Jim, enjoy cross country & downhill skiing, hiking, backpacking, entertaining friends, and international travel to warm, off-the-beaten-path locations.

With over 30 years of bookkeeping experience, Laura joined RMVC in 2008. She has lived in Colorado since the early 70’s and raised her family in the mountains west of Boulder. She still live in the woods with her husband, two dogs, three cats and horse.  Her favorite activities include spending time with her daughters and grandchildren participating in the equine activities that they all love.
