Jennifer first started working with animals in 2005 participating in an internship in Gunnison, CO while pursuing her undergrad degree at Western State College. While there she found that the hands on attention that she was giving each patient was where she wanted to be. She moved her way through multiple vet hospitals, learning the tricks of the trade and mastering her skills. She started at VRCC Emergency in 2007. When not working emergency medicine or doing relief work for the multiple practices in the building, she enjoys spending her free time with her 3 dogs,  Lilly, Rockstar, Rufus and the newest addition, her cat Hendrix. When the ‘children’ are sleeping she enjoys catching up on reality news, reading the newest best sellers, watching football and spending time with her family and significant other.
Shari is originally from Washington State. She moved to Colorado in 1995 with her husband, Paul, son, Nick, and dog. Shortly thereafter, she had her daughter, Natalie, and son, Andrew. Along the way, they acquired 3 more dogs and 2 cats.
Shari has over 20 years of experience in customer service training and operations management, and is so excited to be joining the VRCC team.
Amy is new to the VRCC team and the animal healthcare profession, but has big goals in the field. She knows how important our pets are to us, and strives to make sure everyone feels special to our team. Because our pets can’t speak for themselves, Amy hopes to be an advocate for their needs.
Amy grew up in Texas, and now lives in Denver with her rescue dog Peanut Butter. When not at work, she spends her free time with family, or cooking.
