Client Service Representatives

We are looking for people with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude, who understand the importance of providing excellent client service to our customers and referring veterinarians. CSRs at VRCC act as a switchboard for incoming calls, as well as, check-in and check-out all of our clients and patients. Other responsibilities include patient triage, rooming clients and patients, data entry, cleaning the lobby and exam rooms, record keeping, etc.

VRCC is a very busy 24 hour facility and the front desk is staffed from 6am – 11pm daily, so hours may vary. 3-5 weeks of training will be provided. All candidates must possess a keen attention to detail, excellent communication skills, multitasking skills, the ability to work at a fast pace and a desire to help pets and educate their human families.  Full-time employees receive an excellent benefit and compensation package.

Client Care Coordinator – Cardiology

Rocky Mountain Veterinary Cardiology (RMVC) is looking hire an exceptional person to join our Denver team of veterinary professionals. We have a client care coordinator position available for immediate start. Our coordinators are responsible for projecting RMVC’s professional image to both clients and referring veterinary clinics. This requires a dynamic, forward thinking personality that puts both the clients and the DVM’s experience at the forefront.

This is a full time position consisting of four, 10-hour shifts.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Managing busy phone lines and coordinating responses.

Relaying messages accurately and providing the appropriate follow through.

Ability to be trained on triaging cardiac emergencies.

Scheduling appointments and solving scheduling conflicts.

Entering and updating patient and client information accurately, on the phone and in person.

Maintaining a warm, approachable, and professional demeanor.

Creating new, and building on existing, relationships with clients and referring hospitals.

Working under pressure and remaining calm and effective in urgent and emotionally charged situations.

Providing support for both clients and team members.

Performing basic troubleshooting and maintenance on office equipment

Showing an innate desire to provide compassion and support for clients and their pets in all situations.

Education and License Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Drivers license

Proficient computer skills and basic knowledge of social media, instant messaging etc.

Experience Requirements:

Veterinary experience preferred but not essential.

Client service experience essential.

Technician Assistants

VRCC Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Hospital is seeking a detail oriented, hard-working Veterinary Assistant, who will learn quickly and take initiative. We pride ourselves in providing exemplary care to our patients and clients.  Duties include kennel cleaning, laundry, restraining and walking patients. This person will have exceptional client service and communication skills. Will be very well spoken and have a professional appearance. Graduate of a veterinary assistant education program preferred. This position requires heavy lifting (40 pounds) and standing for long periods of time. We are open 24/7/365, so hours will vary. Cumulative of 30-40 hours per week. Internal Medicine/CCU

We are currently looking for Certified Veterinary Technicians for our Internal Medicine team! Hours for this department are typically 7a-5p, Monday – Saturday. All technicians must be able to be on-call up to 3 times per month, post training.

We are looking for someone who would enjoy working in a fast-paced environment alongside other highly skilled technicians, boarded Internal Medicine specialists, and emergency DVMs. Applicants must be hardworking, self-motivated, detail oriented, self sufficient CVTs.

Applicants would, preferably, have one year of CVT experience and be confident with basic skills: venipuncture, IVC placement, drug calculation and administration, and have excellent recording keeping and client service skills.

Certified Veterinary Technician – Cardiology

Rocky Mountain Veterinary Cardiology (RMVC) currently has an opening for a full time certified veterinary technician who is self-motivated, enjoys working in a fast paced environment and has a desire to further their cardiology knowledge.

This position will be based out of RMVC’S Englewood location at the Veterinary Referral Center of Colorado (VRCC). The cardiology department at VRCC is very busy and sees frequent emergencies. While specific cardiology experience is not essential for this position, emergency and/or specialty experience is preferred. A strong nursing background with a high standard of patient care and attention to detail is essential.

This position will include: in-patient nursing care, client education and support, assisting with echocardiograms, electrocardiograms, and centesis procedures. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be trained in advanced cardiology care, including pacemakers and fluoroscopy operation.

The qualified candidate must thrive in a busy atmosphere while demonstrating the ability to utilize down time effectively. We have a wonderful team at VRCC and we are looking for that special person with the above experience and a positive, friendly attitude.

A minimum of two years veterinary technician experience is required for this position.
