The VRCC provides 24-hour care for its hospitalized patients. There is a Doctor and technician on staff at all times. A technician is specifically assigned to give the personalized care necessary for your pet while they stay overnight at the VRCC. Our overnight technicians have been trained in all specialties. Each morning, the neurologist performs an examination on your pet to re-assess current medical status and possible treatment.

Before coming to visit your pet we ask that you first speak with a neurology technician. For our patients recovering from spinal surgery we often advise against visiting during the first 24 hours following surgery, when the pet sees their parents they often become excited and do not get the absolute rest required for a speedy recovery. The VRCC has designated visiting hours. You will receive an information packet describing our service and hospital guidelines.
