Services
After the initial examination, Dr. Lane may recommend specific
diagnostic tests to help decide how to diagnose and treat your
pet. Most of these tests may be performed right here at the VRCC.
Your pet may be hospitalized or a day scheduled for you to return
with your pet for the procedure. Any risks that may be involved
with the procedure as well as a detailed estimate of costs will
be discussed with you at the time of scheduling.
Radiology
Radiographs are often a part of initial neurological
evaluations, especially for patients with spinal pain. Radiographs
may indicate bone changes indicative of cancer or an infection,
narrowing of spaces between vertebrae suggesting a disk herniation
and congenital abnormalities.
