About VRCC - Specialty Patient Care
Sleep comfortably tonight. Your pet’s monitoring and care are continued through the night and weekend by the Specialty Patient Care (SPC) team. These are well-trained, caring veterinary technicians who act as an extension of all VRCC’s specialty practices. SPC provides ongoing high levels of medical attention for your pet during the hours that the specialists and their teams are away.
Professional care and conscientious vigilance. Your pet has doctor assigned orders which include vital signs, medical alerts, medications, possible diagnostic tests and visual monitoring. If we note any cause for concern, the specialists are notified immediately and provide us with consultation. For situations which require additional attention, the Central Veterinary Emergency (our nighttime, weekend and holiday emergency team) doctors are on hand for assistance.
Keeping you informed. Knowing how much your pet means to you inspires us to provide the highest level of compassionate care for you and your pet. You can call at anytime throughout the night or weekend for updates. Visiting times can also be arranged.
