Audra

Audra

Audra

Audra moved to Colorado from California in February 2014 to be with her fiance, Christopher. She started with a background in hotels, but decided her real passion was animals. She made the move to animal health care a few years ago. She was previously a Client Services Supervisor at a VCA in California and was elated when offered a position with VRCC.

In her free time she loves cooking and trying new recipes. She also enjoys taking her 2 dogs, Diesel (a 5 1/2 year old basset/rottie mix) & Dozer (3 1/2 year old pit bull), for long walks. When she isn’t spending time with her fuzzy family, she is reading or spending time with friends.

Cathy

Cathy

Cathy

I have over 20 years of experience in the emergency and clinical veterinary industry. I have always had a love for animals and always knew I would be helping them in some capacity. I can say that I now have the privilege of recently joining the team at VRCC. I’m looking forward to lending my many years of experience and personal commitment to helping both clients and their pets.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter, our two dogs Nakai and Lakota, and our two cats Monster and Kira. I like to make jewelry and am an active member of Front Range German Shepherd Rescue.

Jamie Church

Jamie

Jamie Church

I moved to Colorado in the summer of 2011 to get away from the extreme heat of the Las Vegas Valley. In the 3 years I have been here, I have spent my time planning my wedding, becoming a mother to my amazing daughter and exploring the many outdoor adventures that Colorado has to offer with my husband.  I have several years working with animals as a tech assistant, animal concierge, and in patient/client services. When I’m not here at VRCC, I’m at school learning to become a medical assistant or spending time with my family.

Kelsey Johnston

Kelsey

Kelsey Johnston

Kelsey hails from a long background in animal welfare. She began by volunteering with her local pet rescue organization in her hometown of Simi Valley, CA. After moving to Colorado in 2001, she quickly became an active volunteer at the Longmont Humane Society, later working at the humane society in animal care, foster care, and in the nationally-renowned Training and Behavior Modification Department. She has worked in the veterinary field since 2008, and is very happy to be a part of the amazing team at VRCC!

Kelsey plans to pursue a degree in Conservation and Wildlife Biology with minors in Business Administration and Global Environmental Sustainability at Colorado State University. She hopes to research and improve human-wildlife interactions. Her main interests include behavioral studies, conflict resolution, and sustainability.

Kelsey believes that “home is where my dog is” (and cats, she adds!) and her furry family consists of Dany, a lab/GSD who is a registered therapy dog and reads with children, Callalily, a beautiful torbie cat who has helped Kelsey foster over 200 kittens, and Ayla, a spastic but extremely lovable Abyssinian mix. In her free time she enjoys hiking, reading, painting, biking, dancing, and cooking yummy food.
