Emergency Technician Assistant

VRCC Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Hospital is seeking a detail oriented, hard-working Veterinary Assistant, who will learn quickly and take initiative. We pride ourselves in providing exemplary care to our patients and clients. Our current VA opening is for Emergency Technician Assistant. Duties include kennel cleaning, laundry, restraining and walking patients. This person will have exceptional client service and communication skills. Will be very well spoken and have a professional appearance. Graduate of a veterinary assistant education program preferred. This position requires heavy lifting (40 pounds) and standing for long periods of time. Our hours are Monday- Sunday. Currently only night hours available. Cumulative of 30-40 hours per week. Hours are subject to change as required by caseload.  Full-time employees receive an excellent benefit and compensation package.

Certified Veterinary Technician

VRCC Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Hospital is currently looking to fill multiple Certified Veterinary Technician positions within the facility.

Emergency

We are currently looking to fill Emergency Technician positions within the facility. We are looking for people who want to work in a fast-paced environment alongside other highly skilled technicians, boarded specialists and emergency doctors. Applicants must be hardworking, self-motivated, enthusiastic Veterinary Technicians, with special interest in Emergency and Critical care.

Applicants, preferably, would have one year of technician experience and be confident with basic skills: venipuncture, IVC placement, drug calculation and administration, radiograph positioning, anesthesia monitoring, sterile technique and record keeping.

Applicants must have a professional appearance, good communication skills, and enjoy working with a team. Applicants must be eager to learn new tasks and skills, in addition to being detail oriented.

VRCC prides our selves in providing exemplary care to our patients and clients. We are a 24 hour facility, so hours may vary. Emergency technicians are expected to work nights, weekends and holidays.

VRCC Neurology – Full-Time
Rocky Mountain Veterinary Neurology is accepting resumes for the position of certified veterinary technician to compliment our 7 dedicated certified technicians. Our neurology/neurosurgery practice is fast-paced, requiring energetic, self-motivated and highly competent individuals with exceptional communication, nursing and technical skills. Our Board-certified neurologist specializes in small animal neurology/neurosurgery, with on-site MRI.  Applicant must have received an AAS degree from an AVMA accredited school and must be certified in the State of Colorado.  One year experience is preferred.

Internal Medicine Specialist, DVM– Full-Time

VRCC  is seeking an individual with credentials accepted by the ACVIM to join our internal medicine department. VRCC is the largest private practice specialty hospital in the Denver metro area. VRCC offers a full complement of specialists in Internal Medicine, Surgery & Orthopedics, Neurology/Neurosurgery, Oncology & Radiation Therapy, Dermatology/Allergy, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, Dentistry, and Emergency & Critical Care. Our team-based approach to patient care rivals university teaching hospitals, allowing us to provide patients and clients with the best care available.

VRCC is fully equipped with Vimago CT, MRI, video endoscopy, laparoscopy, digital radiography, and ultrasound. Our internal medicine department has a varied and interesting case-load with a highly skilled staff of CVTs. Ultrasound experience is strongly desired for this busy internal medicine practice.
